Working with an existing developer’s layout from an office block/apartment conversion, changes were made to improve the layout from simply ordinary to desirably functional — adjusting doorway locations, creating private spaces and reducing the kitchen footprint to create a casual dining with a harbour view to die for. Formal dining is set back into the space for use when needed without affecting the daily living routines of a owner.
Colours and textures feature throughout from the timber panelling, marble and fabrics to the colour pop of the armchairs to bring relief to the dark monochromatic tones of the living area — disguising the large screen television — to the bright tones of the kitchen enhancing the open plan living as a backdrop to the stunning views.
